Remember the quilt that I was making that I posted on here forever ago? Well...it is finally done and I LOVE it! I had a lady here hand quilt it for me and she did a beautiful job! I am really happy with how it turned out. It is uneven in places and not perfect, but hey...it was my first quilt and I am excited that I completed it. I have been using it as a centerpiece on my kitchen table and I think it looks great!

Sorry the pictures are a bit blurry. I am in need of a new camera. Any suggestions?

Yard Update

Mom asked me to take some pictures of what's going on in the yard right now. Things are pretty much the same because it's been raining so much lately. However, it's finally gotten nice enough that they've been able to do some work. Right now, the only big new thing that's been done is the fence. It's entirely gone. Here's what our backyard looks like without a fence.

So, the crew just keeps on working. It's definitely a construction zone. Here is the dump truck that brought the pea gravel to lay the bed before they pour the concrete for the patio. Also the cement truck that delivered all the cement.

It was pretty much an all day job to pour the patio. I have to say that I enjoyed watching the cement guys perform their jobs. They sure do know how to work that concrete. This shows some of the work and a sneak peak of the patio.

Never assume life will get easier.......

So the day started out pretty good. The cement guys came and were busily working to get the patio started. Julie and I went out to lunch for my birthday. We went to the quilt shop. The day looked pretty good. UNTIL ....

Yes, it's all too true. This is what happens when too many guys are working and no one is listening to the warnings about the possiblity of water in the basement. However, the new patio looks great. So tune in tomorrow to the results of a hard day of cement work

Adventures of the Backyardigan

Yes, it's true! I am adding a post WITH A PICTURE! Am I doing it by myself, you ask? What do you think? Of course not. Michael is here by my side guiding me through every step, even though Michelle has gone through this with me before. Today I am determined to become blogger literate.
Today yard guy came and started demo on the backyard. I wish all the little grandkids were here to watch the front loader in action. I have to say I was pretty impressed so I know Jaxton would be very interested. This could have kept Jaxton and Gabby busy for hours just watching the backyard action. Here are a few pictures of the mess he made. Now I know why he said we would probably want to put in a new lawn when he is done. See what happens when you decide to put in a new sprinkler system. One little thing leads to many other big things.

Easter weekend was great for the Lundbergs! before cousin Megan and the Blakes arrived, we went to Baby Animal Days with Jaxton and Gabby. They had a lot of fun!Jaxton was always asking people what the animals' names were. I thought about telling him that we don't name things we're going to eat, but I didn't.Nothing like petting a pig. Thank goodness they had hand sanitizer on site.Ah, rabbits, much better to pet than Wilbur. Jaxton was very sad that we didn't buy one.Wait in line forever and you only get to take two laps. Sun Valley Series Part 10: More Christmas Eve

We now have quite an extensive collection of Megan jumping back and forth between the hotel beds. She catches an amazing amount of air for such a scaredy cat kid.

Sun Valley Series Part 9: Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve in Sun Valley starts with a big ice skating show. They do a condensed version of the Nutcracker on ice, with a few numbers by the Carolers thrown in. Let me just tell you, this night was super fun! Imagine standing on an ice skating rink in Idaho on Christmas Eve in the freezing cold while a heavy snow is falling for about 45 minutes. Now imagine that you have to do this without a winter coat gloves, hat, etc. FREEZING. That about sums it up. The hats you see us wearing in the photo below are open on the top. (We may have taken that photo during the actual show. Don't tell.) By the end of the show, we had so much snow on top of our heads that it looked like the hats had a top. Good times. Immediately following the ice show, there is a torchlight parade on the mountain and fireworks. We had a little break between the ice show and our caroling rounds, so Steve and I had arranged a meeting place to watch the fireworks, but it was so crazy and crowded, that by the time we finally met up, the parade and the fireworks were over. So instead we went back to our hotel room and found that we had been visited by the elusive Mr. P.J. Elf. Megan opened her pajamas and I left for a long night of caroling rounds. Later on I found out what a fun night Megan and Steve had....to be continued!

Sun Valley Series Part 8: Bowling!

Okay, I am the world's worst blogger. This is why I don't have my own blog. Anyway, back to the Sun Valley fun. There is a tiny bowling alley in the basement of the Sun Valley Lodge--a fun way to spend a super cold afternoon! This was Megan's first time bowling and she was way excited. You can see in the second photo what great form she has. The third photo shows how she would stand and watch her ball roll down the lane (at about 1/2 MPH, I might add). All in all, it was a good time!

Sun Valley Series Part 7: White Elephant Party

One of the funnest nights in Sun Valley was the carolers white elephant party. There is a long standing tradition of trying to have the best, funniest white elephant, so there were lots of hilarious moments. In fact, by far the funniest and most outrageous Sun Valley moment occured at this party. However, as it is not exactly a family friendly story, I won't share it on this blog. ;-) If you were there, you know what it was. I didn't take too many photos at the party, but here are a few.

Before we got started, the kids had their own white elephant exchange. Aren't they a bunch of cuties? It must be because they all have gorgeous parents!

Steve was totally thrilled to get this giant remote control. And, seriously, he actually uses it.

Sun Valley Series Part 6: Ice Sculptures

So Sun Valley hires these super talented guys to do ice sculptures in the village during the holidays. When Megan first saw the guys setting up shop and getting ready to sculpt, she was immediately fascinated. Of course she went right up to them, asked them what they were doing, and had all kinds of questions about it. Needless to say, we got to be pretty friendly with them and checked on their progress several times a day while they were there. They told me that they have a machine that makes the ice blocks they use to carve these. Once machine makes four big blocks of ice at a time. In order to have enough blocks for the Sun Valley ice sculptures, they start making them in April. Then they put them in cardboard boxes that fit them exactly and keep them frozen. They also told me a bunch of ideas they have for next year's sculptures. Clearly, they plan ahead.

Mr. President's Birthday Party

I believe Dianne made a request for pictures of Brian on the blog. Well, here you go! On Monday we celebrated Dad's birthday. It was a Presidential themed party in honor of President's Day and because he's Stake President.Here's the birthday boy blowing out his candles. Notice his awesome campaign button that says "Mr. President" on it. The rest of us wore buttons that said "Happy Birthday Mr. President."Dad loves Diet Dr. Pepper, so Nate and Nicole got him 60 bottles of it. They "doctored" (HA!) the labels to read "Dr. Lundberg." The man has so many titles!The house all decked out for the party. Kudos to the Party-Planning Committee for putting together an awesome party!

Sun Valley Series Part 5: Sledding

There is a great sledding hill just up the road from the Sun Valley village. We decided to hit it one day. Unfortunately, we went before there was really much snow. I would have liked to go back after the big snowfall, but Megan wasn't having any of it. Turns out she doesn't enjoy sledding so much.

This is one of the only two pictures I got of her going down the hill. After that she pretty much just played in the snow and refused to go down again.

Sun Valley Series Part 4: The Reason We Were There In the First Place

I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it was to be back with this group, caroling in Sun Valley with lots of old friends and some new ones, after ten years! I had such a wonderful time. The feeling of joy and magic that the Carolers bring into a room is something I've never experienced anywhere else. I love it. Here are a few photos, I'm sure I'll post more of these later.

25 Random Things

Instead of another Sun Valley Series post, today I bring you 25 Random Things About Me, in the case that we are not facebook friends. Enjoy!

1. My parents moved from Utah to St. Louis, Missouri when I was three weeks old. I rode the entire way lying in a bassinet on the back seat, except when my mom was giving me a bottle. Then she would just turn around, pick me up, and hold me in the front seat to do so. How times have changed.
2. I have super double jointed fingers and elbows. Anybody who knows me very well has noticed. 3. The first movie I remember going to was The Fox and the Hound. It was a drive in movie.
4. My most vivid memories of elementary school are of first grade. I had a fantastic teacher and we did lots of fun projects. The best one was that we made dummies of ourselves (traced ourselves on butcher paper, cut out two, and stuffed them), dressed them in clothes that we brought from home, and put them in our chairs before back to school night. We really believed that our parents would think they were us. I still remember that mine was dressed in a red and white checked dress with an attached apron.
5. It's sacrilege to go on a road trip without chocolate flavored Twizzlers. This is my mom's fault.
6. I know it's annoying to read signs out the car window, but I can't stop myself sometimes. I'm like that old guy in the movie Forget Paris.
7. My favorite church calling ever was first counselor in the Young Women's Presidency. I'm still friends with those girls years later. (Shout out to my CV II girls! I'm such a nerd. They love me anyway.)
8. It's been four years since we moved back to Utah from Virginia, and I still miss it a lot. Some things and people especially.
9. The first show I ever performed in was Annie when I was ten years old. I remember that at the final callback, they had us sing "Tomorrow" and then recite the Pledge of Allegiance. This baffles my mind now. Why didn't they have us read from the script?
10. I am a night owl and a slight insomniac. I hate getting out of bed in the morning.
11. I drink too much Diet Coke. There, I said it.
12. I love shoes and handbags. It's a sickness, really.
13. I hate decorating my home. I was born without the gene that tells you how to do it. I wish I knew what to do, but I really don't. Consequently, my house looks really boring.
14. My daughter waits for someone to come get her up in the morning instead of getting herself up and coming into her parents' room like every other kid in the world. I have told her over and over that she doesn't have to wait for me to come get her, she can just get up. Secretly, though, I love it. Remember how much I hate to get up in the morning?
15. My friends from college are the ones who stuck with me for the long haul. I love them.
16. I still fantasize that I will somehow be able to live in NYC before I die. I don't really think it's going to happen, though.
17. I once did my entire wig prep while driving to the theater. Left the house with normal hair, drove myself to the theater, and arrived with my wig prep in place. This will probably only be impressive to other actresses. I know a few girls are already jealous that I can do it without looking in the mirror, let alone while driving.
18. My number one secret dream is to be a Rockette.
19. I have fallen into an orchestra pit twice. Neither one happened during a performance, thank heaven.
20. I wrecked both of my parents' cars in one blow when I was 16 years old. I was following them to a 4th of July parade and I rear-ended them. They were amazingly even-tempered about the whole thing.
21. Last week I got called to be the Ward Choir Director. (sigh)
22. I once starred in a series of TV commercials for a local restaurant in Logan, Utah. I couldn't go anywhere for about two years without hearing french fry jokes.
23. I used to compete in local Miss America affiliated pageants. I'm glad I did it.
24. Even though I'm a pretty decent pianist, I wish I would have practiced harder in my teen years.
25. My sisters and I used to pretend we were the characters on Kids Incorporated. If you don't know what this show is, go to YouTube immediately.

Sun Valley Series Part 3: Playing in the Snow

When we got settled in Sun Valley, Megan immediately wanted to go out and play in the snow. The problem at this point was that there was only a couple of inches. That didn't stop her, though, we bundled up and headed outdoors.
p.s. There might not have been much snow, but it was FREEZING.

Bringing Back Glory

To qualify as a "Cache Valley athlete" an individual need not be a valley native, they must only have competed here for at least one year."

Sun Valley Series Part Two: Our Christmas Tree

Of course we needed a tree in our room, so we brought this little guy along. I usually use these little gold ornaments as bowl fillers in my Christmas decor at home, but they were just right for this tree. I forgot to bring lights, but a quick trip to King's in Hailey fixed that. Please note the Sun Valley sun up on top--very appropriate, yes? Megan is clearly pleased with the finished product.

Hello from Sun Valley! We are having a great time. Here are just a few pictures to whet your appetite for the many more to come. I'll try to get some more up before we come home. We miss you and can't wait to see all of you!

Sun Valley has amazing ice sculptures. We became friendly with the guys who carve them and Megan was really into checking their progress. This one is probably my favorite. I'll have to make sure I have a photo of each one.

Sorry for the long wait. You all know how crazy last weekend was, and my week was about the same. Anyway, I am finally getting these up. When I found out our Primary was having a "mini-trek", visions of Megan dressed as a cute little pioneer girl wouldn't leave me alone. So I headed to JoAnn's, where I found a great deal on a pattern and some cute fabric, and commenced sewing. I won't pretend I didn't have help. Thanks, Mom for helping me figure out the tricky parts.

Apparently Megan is of the lazy pioneer variety. She managed to get this very nice boy to pull her in his wagon the whole way. I kept trying to convince her to get out and walk, but she wasn't having any of that. I told this boy's mom that he pulled her the whole way, and she said he didn't mind and that she told him they were taking the wagon for him to pull some of the littler kids. Hmm. Megan doesn't look that much littler than him to me. Poor kid.

Logan Pioneer Day Parade

This is the third year we have gone to the little parade in Logan on Pioneer Day. This parade is the best kept secret in Utah, in my opinion, and now I am letting the cat out of the bag. It is on Center Street, so there is an abundance of shade, it is just the right length, and there aren't a zillion people (although it has gotten a little more crowded each year). Megan continued on her candy catching streak from the 4th of July and although I don't have photos to prove it this time, made quite the haul. We had to insist that she share the candy she caught with a two year old girl that was next to us, because she had way more than her share.

I decided that Megan needed to start experiencing live theater, so we took her to the Kaysville City production of Beauty and the Beast. She behaved much better than I expected and she really enjoyed it. She was so excited that she got to meet some of the cast members after the show and I was glad I had my camera. Here she is with Belle, Gaston, and the Prince. And if you're thinking you know who her favorite was, you're probably wrong. Nope, not Belle. She thought Gaston was great! Should I be worried?

Yes, that is my child. Covered from head to toe in gritty black dirt. This is what happens when you let a bunch of three and four year olds play alone while you sit and talk to the other adults. When asked how she got so dirty, she replied, "I was taking a shower with the dirt." And when I stripped her down for her bath, dirt fell out of her clothes all over the floor. Remember how cute and clean she looked at the parade earlier in the day? Sigh. Fun day!

So we found out on the 4th of July that Megan is an expert candy catcher. She was by far the most interested and motivated kid there when it came to getting candy. She also managed to get a couple of otter pops and a t-shirt. Way to go, Megan!

With her big bag of loot. She's not sunburned, just red in the face from running after all that candy. Now I know you are all wondering how long it takes to eat this much salt water taffy. The answer is that we may never know. The majority of it sat in the bag on the counter until earlier this week when I finally threw it out. I guess the thrill of the chase really is the best part.

A Day at the Beach???

A day in the life of a four year old's favorite stuffed animal:

I was on the phone this morning and Megan was playing in the next room. Apparently she was setting up an island paradise for Diego, her teddy bear. Take four throw pillows, her favorite hula bear blanket that she drags around the house, a princess umbrella, and some little people (not sure what purpose they serve), and Diego looks quite comfortable. All he needs is a fruity drink with a little umbrella in it. And maybe some swim trunks. I'm not sure if my family room is zoned to be a nude beach.

Ah, the good life! Lucky Diego. I wish I was the one lying on the beach under an umbrella right now.

I started the video and it was a video slideshow of all the pictures we've taken together with our 2 songs. About 60 seconds into the video, he came downstairs.(He had been hiding upstairs with my roommates.) So we watched the slideshow.

After the video, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes. So we were hugging and I was like,"wait! Let me see the ring again." So he pulled the box back and the it was empty. The ring had fallen out so we scrambled to the ground and found it. It was pretty funny. Then I asked him what ring he ended up getting(we looked at a few) and he said,"are you sure you want me to to tell you on camera?" Apparently he had hidden a video camera in the entertainment center so we have it all on tape!

Just FYI, I didn't set this photo up at all. I can't believe how great it turned out. Not only is the light right on Megan's face, but it is a fantastic picture of her, which is pretty rare, as she has a hard time smiling naturally for the camera. So I was really happy with this one. Also, am I the only one who thinks that the little girl next to Megan is wearing WAY too much eye makeup? Yikes!

We had a great time at Summerfest this year! Megan and Jaxton loved the Art Yard. They made froot loop necklaces, painted, made gigatic bubbles, and did a couple of different crafts. I think they would have been happy to stay there all day. I managed to drag them out of there eventually so I could get myself a shaved ice. :)

New Bike!

Megan finally got a big kid bike! She is kind of scared to ride it because she thinks it goes "too fast". This is mostly due to the fact that our street inclines very slightly. So I have to stay right next to her while she's riding it so she doesn't freak out that she's going to go to fast and not be able to stop. We have been having fun with it, though, and taking rides around the cul-de-sac.

Megan and I went on a little walk around our neighborhood one day, and she was really enjoying all the fun stuff we saw--flowers, dandelions, bugs, you name it, we stopped to look at it. This was such a fun walk, until Megan said she had to go to the bathroom and we had to run all the way home. :)

I just had to tell this story about Jaxton cause it's about the funniest thing I've ever heard him say. Last weekend, I went up to Mom and Dad's house to help get things going for the office remodel. Since Angela and Kessee are in the Philipines, Gabby and Jaxton are staying up there. On Monday morning, I had gone into the downstairs bathroom to change my clothes and I shut the door behind me. While I was in there changing I heard Jaxton start coming down the stairs to get some toys. He stopped about halfway down the steps and realized all of the lights were turned off in the basement, so it was pretty dark down there. Not knowing I was in the bathroom, he yelled, "Grandma or someone, will you come turn on the lights downstairs? I'm scared." So, I yelled back, "I'll come turn on the lights!" There was a little pause and Jaxton asked, "Um....are you a ghost???" We all got a pretty good laugh out of that one! Kids say the funniest things.

My good friend/mission companion Deanna got married last week. Here we are at the wedding dinner. Deanna (in the middle) isn't wearing her dress, but she looked so cute that day. It was so fun to see her get married, especially since our mission president performed the ceremony.

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get to this. It's partially because we are not the best at taking pictures on vacation. But, yes, we did go to New York, and there is a little bit of photographic evidence. Now don't get all excited by this first photo--we didn't go to Dave Letterman. But Steve had to get his photo taken as we were passing by the Ed Sullivan Theatre.

Of course, the highlight for me was seeing three Broadway shows. It was so difficult to choose which shows to see, because I would love to see them all, but we were able to narrow it down. Here I am in front of the Hilton Theatre, where we saw Young Frankenstein.

This is why, when you ask a random stranger to take your photo in front of a Broadway theatre, you should be very specific about wanting to be able to see the marquee in the photo! You can kind of tell that we are at Mary Poppins.

And here we are at my favorite of the shows we saw, Curtains. Oh, I just love it! Please bless that someone will do this show soon and cast me as Georgia!

Okay, it was actually Saturday, but we did hit up Magnolia to mack on some cupcakes. Delicious. We had to wait in line outside the bakery--a line that actually went around the corner. We weren't able to take any photos of us in front of the bakery because there was scaffolding all over the front of the building. But just look at those cupcakes!

Megan's home haircutting experience

So, we recently had a big of a trauma here at our house. I came home from a Saturday rehearsal and, exhausted, fell asleep on the couch. Steve was doing some work on the computer in the other room and Megan was coloring at the coffee table. Later on, as we were doing some straightening up, Steve came and found me with a bunch of hair in his hands. Yes, Megan had cut her hair while I was sleeping. I was too angry to take pictures then, but I did save the hair in a plastic baggie, so you can see the incriminating evidence. She made two cuts, one on each side of her face. One was about shoulder length, the other chin length. I immediately called Nicole to see when we could come visit her to take care of this little disaster.

Here we have the lovely before picture. You can kind of see how on the left side of the photo she has a huge chunk of hair that is about 4 or 5 inches shorter than the rest of it. You can't really see the place where she made the cut on the other side.

Here are some pictures from Easter at Mom and Dad's this weekend.You should have seen these kids scarf down the potato chips. They were eating them like there was no tommorrow. DISNEY ON ICE:PRINCESS WISHES!!!!!

On Friday night my friend, Aileen and I decided that we were going to be the best aunts in the world and take our nieces to Princesses on Ice. It was SSSOOOO fun!! We went to dinner first and then to the show. Honestly, my favorite part of the whole night was watching Megan watch the show. She was genuinely mesmerized by everything. She kept waving at everyone on the ice and when Mickey and Minnie came out she threw her hands up and the air and her jaw dropped. It was hilarious. Also, when prince charming came out, he was wearing a blue shirt and a red cape and she was like, "SUPERMAN!" She definately had me laughing all night long.

Here are Katie (one of Aileen's nieces) and Megan at dinner. I love how they dressed up in their princess dresses and crowns.

We took tracks to the show and the girls loved it. In fact, Isabel(the one in the middle) when asked her favorite part of the night quickly responded, "THE TRAIN!" The saddest part about that is it was the only free part of the night cause kids ride free. Go figure!

We had a little mishap on the way home from the show. Aileen and I got on the wrong train to go back to the car. We ended up half way to Sandy and not really sure how to get back. It took us about 3 more train transfers and an extra hour and twenty minutes travel time. Here are the girls in the front of the ticket machine at a random station. Finally we found our way back and all in all had a great time. We'll just see if Michelle ever trusts me to take Megan out again!

More Fun Times

Nate and I went to Hurricane last weekend. We had dutch oven in the backyard with his family one of the nights. It was getting chilly so he went inside and got the coat from his mission in Mongolia. We were so cold that we decided to try to both fit inside and it worked! I know, I know....it's super cheesy.

We went tubing at this huge hill in Midway called Soldier Hollow. It was so much fun. The best part about it is that they have a tow rope to take you up the mountain It was so nice. Much better than Old Main where you take two steps forward and one step back the whole way up the hill!

We went mini gofing with some friends a couple of weekends ago at Trafalga in Orem. These girls are friends from way back in the Glenwood....Ariann and Aileen.

This is Nate and I with my pink ball. Out of the 6 of us, I came in dead last. I think I was at like 23 strokes behind the next person. Very sad, indeed.

Awesome Friends

Last week, I went to dinner at Thanksgiving point with some friends from high school. It was so much fun! I love the fact that I have friends that make an effort to keep in touch! Mostly because I am horrible at it. Here I am with Val and Nikki.

Leslee, Alyssa and Daisie were also there. We stayed for about 2 and 1/2 hours and just chatted about everything. I had a great time!

About a month ago, the wife of my bishop in Glenwood (the first place I lived in Provo) passed away. He is my favorite bishop ever. He has had a really hard time, so a group of some of the old ward members got together and went to dinner with him. It was so fun to get together and see so many old friends. I made some amazing friends in that ward and had such a fun time catching up with everyone!

This is a picture of the last night of hip hop. For the past 3 and 1/2 years, I have been taking a Wednesday night hip hop class and it has been SO MUCH fun. My instructor, Darren(the one on my left) is going to Kuwait for a year and so class is officially over, which makes me so sad. He has such a talent for teaching and choreography. I have made some really good friends in that class. The girl on my right is Zuly. We met in that class and she has become one of my best friends. She is married and had three kids. We are totally in different phases of our lives, but she has been such a good friend to me.

Presidents Day

On Presidents day, Aileen, Richard, Nate and I went on a little road trip. We stayed in Hurricane(Nate and Aileen's parents both live there). We went to Vegas on Saturday. Here we are in front of the Las Vegas strip. I forgot to mention the Aileen and Richard got engaged on Valentines Day and they are getting married in September.

This is a little fuzzy, but I like it. Here we are waiting for the Bellagio fountains...my favorite part of Vegas.

On Sunday, we went to Zions and had the coldest picnic of my life, but it was still really fun. This is us in the parking lot.

We had game night on Sunday at Nate's parents house. We played a really funny game called Boxers or Briefs. I highly recommend it.

Valentines Day

This is a little late but I wanted to blog my Valentines Day. It was an awesome day and I could tell that Nate went to alot of work. This first picture is of my feet and Nates feet in front of the sunset. It was the first thing we did on the date. I know....super cheesy...but super cute!

After we looked at the sunset, we went to his house and he made me dinner. He made stuffed french toast, which was really good. He set up a candlelight dinner in the loft of his house and gave me 3 dozen roses. He aslo made a cute Valentines card and we listened to country music(my favorite and definately not his!)

This was one of many highlights of the night. We went to Step Up 2, the movie. It definately wasn't Nate's choice, but he knew I really wanted to go, so he surprised me with tickets. It was a really fun night.

On Saturday night, I went down to Provo for my old roommate John's surprise party. This is a pic of me and my old roommates from my senior year. Field Trip

Megan's preschool class went on a field trip to Great Harvest Bread. When we got there, the teacher read them the story of the Little Red Hen.

Then they got to go back and see how the bread was made. They all got to hold some wheat and then see the machine that is used to grind it into flour. They also learned about the other ingredients that are used to make bread.

Then they each got to hold a piece of bread dough. They smelled it and squished it and then they got to line up and throw their dough into the garbage like they were shooting baskets.

After the tour, everyone got to enjoy a yummy slice of bread. We all had fun!

Arizona for Anneliesa's birthday!!!

I went to Arizona with Aileen for Anneliesa's 30th birthday. She had a double quinceneria(sp??). About 100 people came. It was so fun! We had a dancing, a pinata, DDR, pastries from the Mexican market, a dollar dance(we made the guys give her valentines instead of actual money) and much more. It was such a fun trip and the weather was amazing!

The band that sang to her for her birthday at the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. But they were really good. It was the highlight of dinner.

I went to the Brad Paisley concert a couple weeks ago with my friend who also happens to be named Nicole and her cousin Tiffany. It was so much fun, not to mention that Brad Paisley and Rodney Atkins are some pretty attractive cowboys!(They're not from Preston) This is us at Applebee's before the concert.
