Megan's Birthday Party

We had a little party on the morning of Megan's birthday. She wanted a Hello Kitty them, so that's what we did. I need to either get better at throwing birthday parties or not have them anymore, because nothing I planned was a hit with the kids. Megan had a good time, though.

Build-a-Bear Workshop

We took Megan to Build-a-Bear Workshop on her birthday for a special surprise. She had a great time. She chose a pink and white poodle instead of a bear. The poodle's name is Sammi. (Also the name of all of Megan's other stuffed dogs. Hmm.) Megan loved "bathing" Sammi and choosing an outfit for her, but I think her favorite part was using the computer to make Sammi's birth certificate. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of that.

First Day of Preschool!

Today was Megan's first day of preschool. She was very excited to go and she looked so cute and grown up! She ran all the way there, so I had to take a couple of photos from behind. I think it shows how thrilled she was to finally be on her way to school!

So we went to Lagoon and Megan loved it! Her favorite rides were the Carousel, the Baby Boats, and the roller coaster! Here she is enjoying whizzing around the track in Puff. (Steve had fun too.)

Trauma on the Ladybug Bop

So we got to Lagoon. We walked toward Kiddieland and the first ride we encountered was the Ladybug Bop. It is very cute and Megan rode a similar ride recently in Logan, so I thought she'd like it.


She stood in line. She looked excited and happy to be there.

She got in the seat. Everything was still fine.

The ride started. She said to Steve, "I want it to be over now!"
