Valentines Day

This is a little late but I wanted to blog my Valentines Day. It was an awesome day and I could tell that Nate went to alot of work. This first picture is of my feet and Nates feet in front of the sunset. It was the first thing we did on the date. I know....super cheesy...but super cute!
After we looked at the sunset, we went to his house and he made me dinner. He made stuffed french toast, which was really good. He set up a candlelight dinner in the loft of his house and gave me 3 dozen roses. He aslo made a cute Valentines card and we listened to country music(my favorite and definately not his!)
Here is a better shot of the roses...they were so pretty!
This was one of many highlights of the night. We went to Step Up 2, the movie. It definately wasn't Nate's choice, but he knew I really wanted to go, so he surprised me with tickets. It was a really fun night.

Haven't posted in a while

I hate to dethrone all the adoreable pictures of Megan, but I thought that I haven't posted anything on the Lundberg blog in a while, and since I never take pictures with the fam, I thought I'd put up a recent picture. On Saturday night, I went down to Provo for my old roommate John's surprise party. This is a pic of me and my old roommates from my senior year. Me, Dave, John (holding the remains of his cake) and Ryan. Good times and good roommates (I miss that!)

Field Trip

Megan's preschool class went on a field trip to Great Harvest Bread. When we got there, the teacher read them the story of the Little Red Hen.

Then they got to go back and see how the bread was made. They all got to hold some wheat and then see the machine that is used to grind it into flour. They also learned about the other ingredients that are used to make bread.

Then they each got to hold a piece of bread dough. They smelled it and squished it and then they got to line up and throw their dough into the garbage like they were shooting baskets.

After the tour, everyone got to enjoy a yummy slice of bread. We all had fun!

Our Little Artist

One day as I was straightening up the family room, I noticed something different about the walls behind our red Ikea chair in the corner. Upon closer inspection, I found it to be two lovely drawings done in black crayon. I wondered who could have completed this artistic masterpiece. Oh wait, no I didn't.

Yep, here she is:

Megan Meets Mr. Clean and his Magic Eraser

Megan was given the job of cleaning the drawings off the wall. We gave her a magic eraser and put her to work. As you can see, she worked hard.

Mission Accomplished

After an hour and a half of hard work, Megan shows off the clean walls. She did it all by herself. Without complaining. I think she did a great job.

New furniture

Here is a look at the new sofa and loveseat that we recently bought. Now I just have to figure out how I really want it arranged, paint the walls, get new decor....hmmm. It looks like this is just creating a way to spend more money. Darn it.

Just in case you haven't heard...

I will be playing Dolly Tate in the Hale Center Theatre's upcoming production. I'm mostly excited to be in the show with several really good friends. It should be a fun time.

Stuff with friends...

We had stake comference on Sunday and we decided that it would be a great idea to take a picture of ourselves. So I put it on the blog for you all to see. These are my friends, Nicole(left) and Tracy(right).
.
I've been dating this guy Nate for about a month, which I guess earns him a space on the family blog. He is roommates with the infamous Richard Matthews. He's from Hurricane, UT and he works in Tech Support for the church.
Here we are in the car. Just chillin'.

Arizona for Anneliesa's birthday!!!

I went to Arizona with Aileen for Anneliesa's 30th birthday. She had a double quinceneria(sp??). About 100 people came. It was so fun! We had a dancing, a pinata, DDR, pastries from the Mexican market, a dollar dance(we made the guys give her valentines instead of actual money) and much more. It was such a fun trip and the weather was amazing!
The band that sang to her for her birthday at the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. But they were really good. It was the highlight of dinner.
Old roommates from Provo together again.
My old friend, Heather from Provo and I jamming out at the quinceneria. Just an everyday siruation.

BRAD PAISLEY AND RODNEY ATKINS CONCERT!

I went to the Brad Paisley concert a couple weeks ago with my friend who also happens to be named Nicole and her cousin Tiffany. It was so much fun, not to mention that Brad Paisley and Rodney Atkins are some pretty attractive cowboys!(They're not from Preston) This is us at Applebee's before the concert.
Right in the middle of all the action....I know it's kinda fuzzy.
There's Brad on the big screen. You can see him in the bottom left of the picture. I know it seems far away but they were actually not bad seats!

Excellent!

Just in case you were wondering who buys the lame DVD's off the $5 clearance shelf, wonder no more. I recently purchased for my watching enjoyment a copy of the classic film "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". I am a loser and I don't care. I can't wait to watch it.
Thought you might want to see my new hair. I cut 7 inches off of it today. I can't decide if I like it but hopefully it will grow on me. I'm sure it will.
