Guess what!!!

I returned home from Vegas with a friend on Monday and walked in my house to find this.
The note told me to follow the path. We're so cheesy that we redid this so we could take pictures.
The path took me downstairs.
When I got down there, I found another note.

I started the video and it was a video slideshow of all the pictures we've taken together with our 2 songs. About 60 seconds into the video, he came downstairs.(He had been hiding upstairs with my roommates.) So we watched the slideshow.
After the video, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes. So we were hugging and I was like,"wait! Let me see the ring again." So he pulled the box back and the it was empty. The ring had fallen out so we scrambled to the ground and found it. It was pretty funny. Then I asked him what ring he ended up getting(we looked at a few) and he said,"are you sure you want me to to tell you on camera?" Apparently he had hidden a video camera in the entertainment center so we have it all on tape!

It's official!

Here we are in the aftermath of the proposal. I love my ring! He did such a great job.
A closer view. The diamond cut is called a trillion. I like it cause it's kind of unique.

A few more from the recital

Post performance glow
Just FYI, I didn't set this photo up at all. I can't believe how great it turned out. Not only is the light right on Megan's face, but it is a fantastic picture of her, which is pretty rare, as she has a hard time smiling naturally for the camera. So I was really happy with this one. Also, am I the only one who thinks that the little girl next to Megan is wearing WAY too much eye makeup? Yikes!

A photo op with mom and dad and a well-deserved ice cream cone. Delicious!

One last pic--Megan and Jaxton. They love each other and are great friends. He was so cute that night and was excited that he got to see Megan dance. We miss you already, Jax! See you in a few months! Take lots of fun pictures for us!

p.s. For any of you that don't know, Jaxton and his family (my sister's family) moved to the Philippines today. That's part of the reason the blog has been slow lately. We've been busy spending time together and helping Angela get ready to move.

Sorry for the long wait....

Someone looks excited!

Here's why:
Dance Recital time!

Megan has shown that she has the Lundberg girl gene--she loves performing in the dance recital. Her class looked so cute in their hula dance and I thought she did a great job!
